Certain 2026 Vespa GTV 310 and 2026 Vespa PRIMAVERA 50 and PRIMAVERA 150 Officina 8 models are affected; they can be recognised by rearview mirrors that are missing the “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.” warning. The mirrors were recalled because the missing warning may make riders unaware that reflected objects appear farther away and could increase crash risk; Piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise taking the scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors.

The hazard
On certain scooters, the wrong rearview mirrors may have been installed. As a result, the mirrors are missing the "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." warning.
Note: This recall only affects certain Officina 8 models.
If the warning is missing, the rider may not be aware that objects reflected in the mirrors appear farther away than they actually are. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Piaggio will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the rearview mirrors.
