The affected product is the Qihang USB charger sold as “QUICK CHARGER” (model QH‑Z62, barcode 8762112262401): a white fast battery charger with USB‑A and Type‑C output ports and a 120 cm connection cable, packaged in a white cardboard box with light blue side panels, a transparent front window and a black hanging hook. It was recalled because it lacks adequate insulation between the primary and secondary circuits, allowing the secondary circuit and connected cable to become live and posing an electric shock risk; it does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive or EN 60335‑1 and EN 62368‑1. The product is being recalled from consumers and marketing of the product is banned.

The hazard
