QS branded cyanoacrylate adhesives sold in Canada from May 2025 to April 2026 are affected: SUPERTEC CIANO (20 g, UPC 8 435057 670050) and SUPERTEC CIANO‑M + SUPERTEC AC 200ML (50 g, UPC 8 435057 600538). They were recalled because they do not meet child‑resistant packaging and labelling requirements for quick skin‑bonding adhesives, risking unintended exposure and serious illness or injury. Consumers should stop using the products and return them to the point of sale for a refund.

The hazard
The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant packaging and labelling requirements for quick skin-bonding adhesives of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
This type of glue is capable of bonding skin instantly. The lack of appropriate labelling and child-resistant packaging could result in unintended exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.
As of May 4, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the point of sale to receive a refund.
