The recall affects 2023–2024 Toyota TUNDRA, 2023–2024 Lexus LX 600 and 2024 Toyota GX 550 vehicles equipped with a 3.4L twin‑turbo engine. Engines may have been improperly manufactured so metal debris can cause crankshaft bearing failure, which can make the engine run rough, not start, or stall and could lead to a sudden loss of wheel power and increased crash risk. Toyota will notify owners by mail and corrective actions are under development; the recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2026‑241.
