2022–2026 Lexus NX 350 and RX 350 and other models recall: visual system

2022–2025 Lexus NX 350, 2023–2026 Lexus RX 350 and 2024–2026 Lexus TX350 SUVs (brand LEXUS) are affected. Under certain conditions a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver’s ability to see behind the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash. Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software or replace the rearview camera, as necessary.

The hazard

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse.

A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the rearview camera software or replace the rearview camera, as necessary.
