Certain 2022–2024 Audi E‑TRON GT vehicles are affected; you can identify them by the model/year 2022–2024 Audi E‑TRON GT. The high‑voltage electric passenger‑compartment heater may fail, causing reduced cabin heat and a windshield defroster that may not work properly, which can reduce visibility and increase crash risk. Audi will notify owners by mail; interim repairs replace a failed heater with the same‑design part free of charge, and when final repairs are available Audi will notify owners to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the heater with an improved part.
