The hazard

On certain trucks, a software problem could cause reduced trailer braking when towing a tanker trailer without internal baffles.

Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
