The hazard
On certain trailers, the VIN plate lists the wrong gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in a crash.
What to do
Waltron has already repaired the affected trailers by replacing the VIN plate.
