Assorted travel adaptors sold at Big W for Europe-to-Australia, USA-to-Australia and UK-to-Australia use that are marked “-16” or “-17” on the rear are affected. They were recalled because the plug pins are uninsulated and the adaptors lack the required Australian Regulatory Compliance Mark, posing a risk of electric shock, serious injury or death and a risk of fire. Consumers should immediately stop using and disconnect them, then return the adaptor to any BIG W store for a full refund or contact recall@clgroup.au or call 08 8340 1600 to arrange return and refund.
