Certain 2020–2022 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid (PHEV) minivans are recalled because the high‑voltage battery could fail and overheat, creating a fire risk even when the vehicle is parked and turned off. Owners are advised not to charge the vehicle and to park it outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until repairs are completed. FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the high‑voltage battery and install advanced diagnostic software to monitor the battery.
