2022–2026 Jeep WAGONEER and GRAND WAGONEER recall: accessories

Certain 2022–2025 Jeep Wagoneer and 2022–2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer SUVs (including certain 2023–2026 Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L models) equipped with roof crossbars are affected. The pivot bolts securing the roof crossbars may not have been tightened properly, allowing the crossbars to detach and create a road hazard; FCA Canada will notify owners and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to inspect and secure the roof crossbars as necessary.

How to identify it

2022–2025 Jeep WAGONEER

2022–2026 Jeep GRAND WAGONEER

The hazard

On certain vehicles, the pivot bolt(s) securing the roof crossbars may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the crossbar(s) could detach from the vehicle.

Note: This recall also affects certain 2023-2026 Wagoneer L models and Grand Wagoneer L models.

A crossbar that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and secure the roof crossbar(s), as necessary.
