Certain 2021–2023 Lincoln NAVIGATOR and EXPEDITION vehicles and various 2022–2023 Lincoln F‑series chassis cab and Super Duty models (listed in the recall) are affected; you can recognise them by model/year. The hazard
On certain trucks, the windshield wiper arms may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the wiper arm(s) could break or become detached and may not wipe the windshield properly.
Windshield wipers that do not work properly could affect a driver's visibility. Windshield wiper(s) that detach from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Ford will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
