2025 Honda CB1000 recall: fuel system

2025 Honda CB1000 motorcycles are affected. They were recalled because the fuel feed hose could disconnect from the fuel tank, which can cause fuel to leak and the engine to stall while riding, creating risks of fire and crashes and potentially affecting handling if fuel contacts the rear tire. Honda will notify owners by mail and advise taking the motorcycle to a dealership to secure the angle sensor wiring harness and replace the fuel feed hose.

The hazard

On certain motorcycles, the fuel feed hose could disconnect from the fuel tank. If this happens, fuel could leak and the engine could stall while riding.

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a fuel leak near the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle and also increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to secure the angle sensor wiring harness and replace the fuel feed hose.
