Honda motorcycles: 2023–2025 CMX500 and CL500 and 2024 CMX300 models are affected. The handlebar lock screw may not have been installed properly and could loosen and fall between the frame and steering stem, potentially interfering with steering and causing a loss of steering control and a crash. Honda will notify owners by mail and advise taking the motorcycle to a dealership to replace the handlebar lock screw and apply a thread‑locking compound.
