CanadaKTM is recalling certain 2025 KTM 390 SMC, 2025 KTM 390 ADVENTURE and 2025 KTM 390 ENDURO motorcycles. The side stand spring could break, causing the side stand to fall or open suddenly while riding and possibly stall the engine, increasing the risk of a crash. KTM will notify owners by mail and advise taking the motorcycle to a dealership to install a new side stand spring and sensor plate.

The hazard
On certain motorcycles, the side stand spring could break. If this happens, the side stand could fall or open suddenly while riding and cause the engine to stall.
