2022–2026 Lucid AIR vehicles equipped with the optional DreamDrive Pro package may experience a software issue that prevents the rearview camera image from appearing on the display and displays the message “Camera Error. Turn your vehicle off and on again.” Lucid will notify owners by mail and has sent a wireless over‑the‑air software update; owners should accept the update or contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center for assistance. No further action is needed if the vehicle has software version 2.8.17 or later.
How to identify it
2022–2026 Lucid AIR
The hazard
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display.
Note: This problem would cause a "Camera Error. Turn your vehicle off and on again" message to be displayed. This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the optional DreamDrive Pro package.
A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.
What to do
Lucid will notify owners by mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. There is no further action needed if your vehicle has software version 2.8.17 or a later release.
