2027 Peterbilt 548 medium/heavy trucks (PETERBILT) are affected; identify your vehicle by model and year. The rear brakes may take too long to apply and/or release too slowly, which could increase the risk of a crash and does not meet Canadian brake timing requirements. PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise taking the truck to a dealership to replace the front brake valve; the dealer will also replace the hose from the foot valve to the brake relay valve with one of another size.
