Prevost X3-45 coach buses (2024) are affected; the recall concerns buses for which recall SR24-33 repairs may not have been done correctly and passenger seat belts may not extend from the retracted position. If belts don’t extend they can’t be used, which can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Prevost will notify owners by mail and advise taking the bus to a Prevost service center for inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the passenger seat belts.
