Affected vehicles are 2024–2025 Lincoln NAUTILUS and 2025 Lincoln POLICE INTERCEPTOR UTILITY (EXPLORER) hybrid electric SUVs. They were recalled because a software problem could cause the pedestrian alert system not to work properly, which could increase the risk of injury to other road users. Ford will notify owners by mail and will send an over‑the‑air software update to update the digital signal processor and audio control module software, or owners may schedule an appointment at a Ford dealership for the update.
