2019–2021 Jaguar I-PACE recall: high voltage

2019–2021 Jaguar I‑PACE SUVs are affected. Certain vehicles can have a problem inside the high‑voltage battery that could create smoke or heat, melt or damage the battery and nearby parts, and create a fire risk. Jaguar recommends charging and parking the vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until repairs are completed; as an interim repair a dealer will update vehicle software to limit maximum charge to 90% and Jaguar will notify owners by mail when the final repair is available.
