2009–2010 Nissan CUBE vehicles are affected; they can be recognised by the model name CUBE and the 2009–2010 model years. The driver-front airbag inflator may not have been properly welded, which could allow the airbag module to separate from the steering wheel during deployment and increase the risk of injury. Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise taking the vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver-front airbag inflator.
