How to edit PDF

Can I change the existing text in the PDF?
Not directly. PDFs store text as positioned letters rather than editable paragraphs. The reliable way is to cover the old text with white-out and type the new text on top.
Does white-out delete what's underneath?
It hides it on the page and in print, but the original text is still in the file and can be copied out. Don't use it to redact confidential information.
Which fonts can I use?
A sans-serif and a serif font covering Latin, Greek and Cyrillic, in any size and colour. The text is real text, so it stays sharp and searchable.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Every tool runs in your web browser, so your files are read, changed and saved on your own device and never sent to LabAnvil or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, the tools even work offline.
