How to compress a PDF to 100 KB for an upload form
Get a PDF under 100 KB, 200 KB or 1 MB for an application portal: what the tool tries first, why pages sometimes become images, and what to do if it won't fit.
Save each page of a PDF as an image: JPG to post or share, PNG for sharp text and transparent backgrounds, or PSD to edit in Photoshop. Choose the resolution, and convert every page or just the ones you pick.

Your files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Most online PDF tools upload your document to their servers. This one doesn’t: PDF to JPG runs entirely in your browser, so contracts, forms, IDs and photos never leave your device. It’s free and adds no watermark, and you don’t need an account.
150 DPI is right for screens and email. Choose 300 DPI for printing or zooming in on small text. Higher resolutions make larger files.
JPG makes the smallest files and suits photo-heavy pages. PNG is lossless, so text, diagrams and screenshots stay perfectly sharp. PSD is for editing: it opens in Photoshop, Photopea, GIMP, Affinity Photo and Krita.
Choose PNG and tick “Transparent background”: areas of the page with nothing drawn on them are left transparent instead of white. Pages that paint their own white background stay white.
No. Each page becomes a single flattened layer. PDFs don't store Photoshop layers, so there's nothing to separate them from.
PNGs are lossless, and a 300 DPI page has almost nine million pixels. Choose 150 DPI, or JPG, for smaller files.
It saves each whole page as a picture, including its text and drawings, rather than pulling out the photos embedded in it.
No. Every tool runs in your web browser, so your files are read, changed and saved on your own device and never sent to LabAnvil or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, the tools even work offline.
Free, with no watermark, no daily limit and no account.
