How to sign PDF

- Create your signature (draw, type or upload), then click where it goes. Drag to move and resize.
- Add the date or initials if needed, then select “Save signed PDF”.

Is an electronic signature legally binding?
In most countries, including the US (ESIGN Act), the EU (eIDAS), the UK and Canada, a simple electronic signature is valid for most everyday agreements. Some documents, like wills and certain property deeds, need other formalities, so check if you're unsure.
Is this a digital certificate signature?
No. It places an image of your signature, like signing on paper. It doesn't add a cryptographic certificate that proves the file hasn't changed since.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
Only in your own browser, if you choose to remember it for next time. It never reaches our server.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Every tool runs in your web browser, so your files are read, changed and saved on your own device and never sent to LabAnvil or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, the tools even work offline.
