What DPI means, and how to get a 300 DPI image
Why DPI changes print size and not quality, how large your photo can print, and how to set 300 DPI without re-compressing it.
Fix sideways and upside-down photos, straighten a crooked horizon by a few degrees, or mirror an image to un-flip a selfie or a reversed scan. Work on each image separately or all of them at once, and the result is saved into the file.

Your images stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Most online image tools upload your pictures to their servers. This one doesn’t: Rotate & Flip Image runs entirely in your browser, so family photos, IDs, screenshots and client work never leave your device. It’s free, with no watermark and no limit on how many images you process, and you don’t need an account.
Phones often save photos sideways with a note saying which way is up, and some apps ignore the note. Rotating here saves the pixels the right way up, so the photo looks right everywhere.
Flip it horizontally. Front cameras often save the mirrored view you saw on screen, so text in the photo reads backwards; flipping it shows the scene as everyone else saw it.
Rotating turns the image around its centre, so text stays readable. Flipping mirrors it, so text reads backwards. Flipping both ways gives the same result as rotating by 180°.
The image is turned and the canvas grows to fit it. The new corners are transparent in PNG and WebP, or filled with the background colour you choose in JPG. Crop the result to trim them.
PNG output is lossless. JPGs are re-saved at quality 92 by default, which you can raise to 100 so the difference can't be seen.
No. Every tool runs in your web browser, so your images are read, changed and saved on your own device and never sent to LabAnvil or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, the tools even work offline.
Free, with no watermark, no daily limit, no account and no cap on file size beyond what your device's memory can handle.
