How to turn a CSV file into labels
- Export a CSV from the app that holds your list, or save your spreadsheet as CSV.

- Check the fields on the label, pick a sheet and download the PDF.
Good to know
This page starts with an order export on 2 × 4 in shipping labels (Avery 5163). Only the columns you use appear on the label, so extra columns like order numbers or emails can stay in the file.
Questions
Which CSV files work?
Comma, semicolon, tab and pipe separated files, with or without quotes, in UTF-8, UTF-16 or the Windows encoding older versions of Excel save in. Excel workbooks (.xlsx) open directly too.
How do I export a CSV from Shopify, Etsy or Google Contacts?
Shopify exports orders and customers as CSV from the Orders and Customers pages. On Etsy, go to Shop Manager, Settings, Options, Download Data. In Google Contacts, choose Export and Google CSV. Each file has a heading row, which becomes the field names.
Why do accented letters look wrong?
That happens when a file's encoding is guessed wrongly. This tool reads UTF-8 first and falls back to the Windows encoding, which covers files from most versions of Excel. If names still look wrong, open the file in a spreadsheet and copy and paste the cells instead.
Is my list uploaded?
No. The labels and the PDF are made in your browser, so your list never leaves your computer.
Why don't my labels line up?
Print at Actual size or 100%, not Fit to page. If they're still off, print the alignment test on plain paper, hold it against a label sheet, and move the content with Nudge.
