How to print name tags from a guest list
- Paste your attendee list with a name column, or first and last name columns.
- Add a second line such as company, role or table number, and pick your badge sheet.
- Print the alignment test on plain paper, then print the badges at 100%.
Good to know
Avery 5395 holds 8 badges of 2⅓ × 3⅜ in. On A4, the 8-per-sheet L7165 labels (99.1 × 67.7 mm) make a similar badge.
Questions
How big should the name be?
Big enough to read from a couple of metres away: 24 pt or more on a 2⅓ × 3⅜ in badge. The tool starts at 26 pt and shrinks long names to fit.
Can I show first names bigger than surnames?
The first line is bold, so put the first name on a line of its own: {First name} on one line, {Last name} on the next.
Can I add a QR code for check-in?
Yes. Turn on a QR code under Code and point it at a column with each guest's ticket or check-in ID.
Is my list uploaded?
No. The labels and the PDF are made in your browser, so your list never leaves your computer.
Why don't my labels line up?
Print at Actual size or 100%, not Fit to page. If they're still off, print the alignment test on plain paper, hold it against a label sheet, and move the content with Nudge.
