How to use the Markdown to Discord
- Paste your Markdown: release notes, a guide or an answer from an AI chat.
- Choose the message length (2,000 characters, or 4,000 with Nitro) and whether links show previews.
- Copy each message in turn and send them in order.
Private by design
Many online converters send your text to their server, which matters for drafts, notes and anything confidential. Markdown to Discord runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, logged or stored on a server, and it keeps working with your network switched off. It’s free, with no account and no limits.
Questions
How is long text split?
At blank lines between paragraphs wherever possible, so sentences aren’t cut in half. A code block that has to be split is closed at the end of one message and reopened at the start of the next, so both halves still show as code.
What happens to tables?
Discord can’t show Markdown tables, so they’re lined up in a code block, where the fixed-width font keeps the columns straight.
What does “Link previews” do?
Discord shows a preview card under most links. Untick it to wrap links in < >, which keeps them clickable without the card: handy for a message full of links.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so drafts, notes and documents stay on your device, and the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.
Do I need an account?
No. Every Markdown tool is free to use without signing in, with no limits.
